Terms of use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Short version: you keep your data, you are responsible for your accounts, and the output is evidence rather than verdict. The longer version follows.
The service
ScopeMCP is a read-only connector that lets an AI assistant read search data you have authorised it to read. It includes an MCP server, a web interface, scheduled monitors and an in-house competitor keyword engine.
It is provided as-is, with no service level agreement. It is a tool, not an adviser.
Read-only, and what that means for you
ScopeMCP cannot change your websites, properties or search settings. There is no write path in the tool handlers. We are not liable for changes to any third-party account made through other means while using ScopeMCP.
Your accounts are yours
- You are responsible for who has access to your Google, Microsoft and email accounts, and for revoking access you no longer want.
- You authorise read access to the properties your accounts can reach. ScopeMCP never sees a property your account cannot already see.
- Disconnect a source at any time; the tokens are deleted immediately.
What the output is, and is not
Every report returns evidence and an explicit statement of its limits. The evidence is real data from the providers named in the response. The interpretation is heuristic.
Specifically, and this matters more than anything else on this page: benchmark CTR is a published industry average used for prioritisation, not a target or a guarantee. Share of voice covers only the keywords a given run checked. A confirmed keyword gap means a competitor ranks and you do not, not that they earn traffic. A health score is a weighted model we designed, with the weights published so you can disagree with it. A page-level decline is a symptom, not a diagnosis.
Do not treat any of it as financial, legal or professional advice, and do not make business decisions on a single report without checking the underlying data.
Third-party providers
ScopeMCP depends on Google, Microsoft and, optionally, an email provider. Their APIs, terms, availability and rate limits are theirs. We do not control them and cannot guarantee their uptime or their continued access levels.
Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, not ours.
Fair use
There is no paid tier, so the only fairness mechanism is the published rate limits. Do not script around them, and do not use ScopeMCP to build a competing data product.
We may restrict an account that is degrading the service for others, and we will say why.
Intellectual property
The ScopeMCP source code, design and documentation belong to their authors. The data returned to you remains yours, and the underlying data belongs to Google, Microsoft or Bing under their terms.
Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. ScopeMCP is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScopeMCP is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or revenue, or for decisions made on the basis of the output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced in the product before they take effect, and the previous version remains in the public repository so you can see exactly what changed.
